State mulls possible Croatia Airlines division

The Croatian Minister for Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, Oleg Butković, has hinted that Croatia Airlines' various divisions could be divided and sold off separately to increase the carrier's privatisation prospects. Mr Butković noted that "several scenarios" were in play and being considered. The minister believes that a special committee will be formed today at a government session which would, together with the company's management, work on finding a strategic partner. The management board should soon select a financial adviser who should offer models that could be applied to find a future partner. Mr Butković noted that foreign investors have expressed their interest in the airline.
