Air Serbia increases Tirana capacity
NEWS FLASH
Air Serbia will boost capacity on its flights between Belgrade and Tirana this coming winter season, with the airline to deploy the jet-engine Airbus A319 aircraft on selected days. The carrier plans to operate nine weekly flights between the two capital cities this winter, up from six last year, and will utilise the A319 jet each Monday, Wednesday and Friday instead of the initially planned ATR72 turboprop. The growth in both frequencies and capacity is partly a result of increased demand due to the recent collapse of Adria Airways. Air Serbia will run ten weekly flights between Belgrade and Tirana during the busy holiday period, between mid-December and mid-January.
