Niš Airport reopens, flights resume

Niš Constantine the Great Airport has reopened for commercial traffic today, with Wizz Air resuming flights. The budget carrier has reinstated its service between Dortmund and the south-east Serbian city as of this morning. Wizz Air will restart the remainder of its Niš network during the first week of June. Ryanair, which also maintained flights from Constantine the Great Airport prior to the coronavirus pandemic, has scheduled its return for August. Air Serbia, which boasts a base in the city, is expected to resume operations from Niš in the coming month.
