PHOTOS: Air Serbia resumes commercial flights

NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia resumed commercial flights yesterday after just over two months with services to Zurich and Frankfurt. The first flight to Zurich had some thirty passengers on board while the inboud service was full. The carrier will be adding more routes to its network in the coming days and weeks. As previously reported, it is now mandatory to wear face masks on board Air Serbia aircraft for the entire duration of the flight. Additional protective equipment, such as gloves and visors, can be brought on board by passengers and will be permitted and welcomed. Service on all flights will be simplified with a focus on minimal contact. This will include the removal of the inflight magazine and brochures. Initially, there will be no catering on board, instead, only water will be served to prevent the frequent removal of masks, and thus reduce the risk of the virus being transmitted. Passengers older than 65 will now have complimentary priority check-in, while families checking in for flights will be able to do so using special counters, to make the process quicker and more efficient. Food will be served on the airline’s New York flights when they resume on June 6.
