Zagreb flights halted over earthquake
NEWS FLASH
Flights in and out of Zagreb have been temporarily halted after a powerful earthquake hit central Croatia earlier in the day. A number of services have been cancelled. Further information on the situation at the airport and the status of scheduled flights should be known after 16.00 CET. The 6.4 magnitude earthquake was felt throughout the country, as well as neighbouring Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia and as far away as southern Austria. The epicentre was sixty kilometres south of Zagreb.
