easyJet launching two new routes to Rijeka

easyJet will return to Rijeka after fifteen years with the introduction of two new seasonal routes, from London Gatwick and Berlin. Flights from both cities will be maintained twice per week, each Tuesday and Saturday, with operations from the British capital commencing on May 3, while services from the German capital will launch on June 28. Commenting on the development, Rijeka Airport said, “Thanks to the exceptional efforts and commitment made by the management, a mutual agreement has finally been made after many years of negotiations between Rijeka Airport and easyJet. The Ministry of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, the Primorsko - Goranska County, the cities of Rijeka, Opatija, Krk, Crikvenica, Omisalj, as well as hotel representatives, and the Tourist Board will support promotional activities needed to best position the Kvarner region on the British market, where it's still pretty unknown”.
