Five airlines to deploy wide-body jets to Belgrade

Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport will see airlines deploy wide-body jets on several scheduled, as well as charter operations, this February. Last Thursday, Turkish Airlines utilised its 289-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft on one of its two daily services to Belgrade, followed yesterday by the deployment of the 250-seat A330-200 jet. Qatar Airways is set to operate its 260-seat A330-200 this coming Sunday on its service between Doha and Belgrade. Last Saturday, Hainan Airlines deployed its 222-seat A330-200 jet on a charter flight from Shanghai. This will be followed up next Monday with a service from Belgrade to Beijing. On the other hand, Xiamen Air is carrying Chinese workers on a charter service from Xiamen to Belgrade today aboard its 290-seat Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Meanwhile, Aeroflot has scheduled its 296-seat A330-300 from Moscow to the Serbian capital on February 19, February 20, February 26 and February 27. Air Serbia continues to maintain wide-body flights between Belgrade and New York throughout the month with its A330-200. Last-minute equipment changes remain possible.
