Zagreb Airport approaching pre-pandemic results
NEWS FLASH
Zagreb Airport handled 148.830 passengers in February, representing a decrease of 19.2% on the pre-pandemic 2020 and 17.8% on the same month in 2019. The strong result was achieved on the back of Ryanair, which now holds over 20% of Zagreb Airport’s overall capacity. February’s results represent an improvement on the month before, a notable feat considering it is the weakest for the aviation industry and also the shortest. During the first two months of the year, a total of 289.006 passengers passed through the airport, down 25.4% and 22.4% on 2020 and 2019 respectively.
