Tuzla Airport overtakes Ljubljana in January

Tuzla Airport handled more passengers than the traditionally busier Ljubljana in January. Bosnia and Herzegovina’s second largest airport welcomed 58.304 travellers through its doors, compared to Ljubljana Airport’s 57.912. Tuzla Airport was also close to overtaking Sarajevo during the month, with the latter having handled 61.068 travellers. January 2023 marks Tuzla Airport's busiest start to the year on record. The figure is up 149.5% on last year and up 65.7% on the pre-pandemic January of 2020.
