Ex-Croatia Airlines CEO suspended as Air Mauritius boss

Krešimir Kučko, who served as the CEO of Croatia Airlines between 2012 and 2017, and later went on to head Gulf Air and most recently Air Mauritius, has been suspended from his post at the African carrier pending an investigation. Mr Kučko, along with the company’s Chief Finance Officer, have been temporarily stood down by the airline’s Board of Directors after it was brought to their attention that the duo accepted a stay in a hotel in France, covered by one of Air Mauritius' suppliers, local media report. According to an internal message addressed to Air Mauritius staff, the Board of Directors met last Friday and decided to appoint an independent party to investigate the matter. Mr Kučko became Air Mauritius’ CEO last December.
