Croatia Airlines marks first flight anniversary

Croatia Airlines has marked thirty years since it operated its first commercial flight on May 5, 1991 between Zagreb and Split. The service was operated by an MD-82 aircraft leased from Adria Airways. To celebrate the occasion, all passengers flying on the afternoon service between the two cities this Wednesday received a free return ticket on any flight within the carrier’s domestic network. The Zagreb – Split route is Croatia Airlines’ second busiest domestic service after Zagreb - Dubrovnik. In the prepandmic 2019, it handled 198.433 travellers between the two cities, while the figure stood at 65.516 last year.
