Belgrade sees busiest month since October 2019

Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport handled some 535.500 passengers in July, down 27.1% on the same month during the pre-pandemic 2019. During the first seven months of the year, Belgrade Airport welcomed 1.5 million travellers through its doors, which is down 56.4% on the same period in 2019. The airport maintained its position as the busiest in the former Yugoslavia. Between January and July, Air Serbia accounted for 48.3% of Belgrade’s capacity, followed by Wizz Air with 12.2% and Lufthansa with 6.3% of all seats.
