Banja Luka Airport registers busiest month on record

Banja Luka Airport handled the most passenger in a single month this July than at any other point in its history. A total of 27.829 travellers passed through its doors, representing an increase of 63% on the pre-pandemic 2019. During the January - July period, the airport welcomed 40.727 travellers. Banja Luka’s growth is being driven by Wizz Air which launched operations from five points in Europe to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s second largest city this June. As previously reported, Banja Luka Airport has more airline seats on offer during the second half of the year than prior to the coronavirus pandemic.
