Croatia Airlines finalises lease for final six A220s

Croatia Airlines has concluded the lease of its final six Airbus A220 aircraft with Griffin Global Asset Management, finalising contracts for all fifteen of the incoming aircraft. Deliveries of the final six A220s will commence in 2026. “We are thrilled to be participating in the recently announced Croatia Airlines growth and fleet rollover plans, as we welcome a new customer and aircraft type to the Griffin portfolio. This six aircraft transaction demonstrates our ability to provide the most up to date and fuel-efficient aircraft at scale and is consistent with our strategy of partnering with top-tier airlines. The entire team at Griffin is looking forward to a successful long-term relationship with Croatia Airlines”, Griffin’s Senior Vice President for Marketing, Peter Bennett, said. As reported by EX-YU Aviation News last month, Croatia Airlines will lease six A220s from the Air Lease Corporation, three from Azzora and the remaining six from Griffin. The first two jets are to be delivered during the second half of this year, with all to arrive by 2027.
